Andes Soul is Melbourne's home of Andean fusion cuisine, located at 7 Shakespeare Grove, St Kilda. The restaurant draws on the culinary traditions of Colombia, Peru, and Argentina, serving open-fire grilled meats, acid-bright Peruvian dishes, Colombian staples, and signature South American cocktails. Live Latin jazz plays every Friday and Saturday from 6:30pm. The cafe opens on weekends from 9am with Colombian specialty coffee and Andean-inspired breakfast.

Andean Fusion Restaurant

The restaurant at Andes Soul is open for dinner from 5pm. The menu centres on dishes rooted in the Andean tradition: slow-braised beef ribs, open-flame ribeye, Peruvian tiradito, Colombian arepas, and Argentine-inspired milanesa. Cocktails lean South American — pisco sours, mezcal, and spirits you will not find on a standard Melbourne bar menu.

• Tiradito — Peruvian-style sliced fish in leche de tigre and passionfruit ($32)
• Beef Ribs — Slow-braised with potato purée and vegetable sauce ($48)
• Ribeye — Open-flame grilled, richly marbled ($42)
• Milanesa (Parma) — Argentinian breaded cutlet with melted cheese, chips and salad ($32)
• Colombian Arepa — Grilled corn arepa with melted Oaxaca cheese ($22)
• Empanadas — Beef brisket, chicken, or mushroom. Gluten-free ($6 each)

Live Jazz Nights

Every Friday and Saturday from 6:30pm, Andes Soul hosts live Latin jazz featuring professional musicians including Pablo Torres. No cover charge. Read more about jazz nights.

Cafe & Weekend Breakfast

On Saturday and Sunday mornings, Andes Soul opens as a cafe from 9am. Colombian specialty coffee, Andean-inspired brunch plates including Lomo Saltado, Eggs Benedict with arepa, Big Breakki, Colombian Huila-Style Tamal, Farmer’s Soul, and Tropical Bowl.
