Cafe & Brunch — Andes Soul, St Kilda

Andes Soul is St Kilda's Andean fusion cafe, located at 7 Shakespeare Grove. On weekend mornings the restaurant transforms into a bright, welcoming cafe serving Colombian specialty coffee, Andean-inspired brunch and specialty Colombian coffee. The cafe opens Saturday and Sunday from 9am.

The Cafe Story

Andes Soul was opened in December 2025 by Eddy Araque, who grew up in the coffee-growing region of Colombia before moving to Melbourne. The cafe reflects his belief that Colombian coffee deserves to be understood in its proper context: not just as a commodity, but as a product with terroir, altitude, and story. The cafe at Andes Soul is the most direct expression of that philosophy — a place where the coffee is sourced seriously and the food reflects the same Andean tradition.

Andes Soul Cafe is located at 7 Shakespeare Grove, St Kilda, Melbourne VIC 3182. We are just off Acland Street, a short walk from St Kilda Beach, Luna Park, and the Palais Theatre. Tram services on St Kilda Road and Fitzroy Street both service the area. Street parking is available on Shakespeare Grove and surrounding streets.

Cafe Opening Hours

The Andes Soul cafe is open Saturday and Sunday from 9am. The full restaurant opens from 5pm Wednesday through Monday (closed Tuesday). Book a table online or call 0478 187 330.
